CG DETROITPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what happens to information you give us, and what gets collected automatically, when you use this site. If anything here is unclear, call us on 248-553-0202 and ask.
Information you give us
When you fill in a form on this site, we ask for your name, email address, phone number, company, and details about the work you need. We use it to answer you, quote the work, and run the project. It is sent to the CG Detroit person who handles that kind of enquiry.
Our forms are operated by JotForm, which stores the submissions on our behalf. When you submit a form, the information reaches our own server first and is then passed to JotForm.
We do not sell your information.
Ordering
Four of our franchise programs order through Ecwid, which runs the store and processes the payment. Your payment details go to Ecwid and its payment processor — we never see or store your card number.
Two Men and a Truck ordering runs on a separate system that we link to but do not operate. Their own terms apply once you are there.
If you send us artwork through our Hightail upload link, your files are held by Hightail.
Information collected automatically
Analytics. We use Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to understand which pages people read, where they arrive from, and which enquiries the site produces. This collects pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you reached us.
Session recording. We use Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors move through pages — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement — and can replay a session. We use it to find parts of the site that are confusing or broken.
We run it in its strictest privacy setting, which means the text on the page is masked before the recording is made. That includes anything you type into a form. We can see that someone filled in a field; we cannot see what they wrote. What you send us arrives through the form itself, not through a recording.
Cookies. Google and Microsoft set cookies to do the above. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them, though the ordering storefronts may not.
Your choices
- Opt out of Google Analytics across all sites with Google’s browser add-on.
- Opt out of session recording by enabling Do Not Track, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
- To ask what we hold about you, or to ask us to delete it, call 248-553-0202 or use our contact page.
Children
This site sells commercial vehicle graphics and signage to businesses. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page.
