Preferred Format: Adobe Illustrator (AI), EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)


Vector files use mathematical equations to define shapes and lines, ensuring they can be scaled to any size without loss of quality. They are ideal for designs with crisp lines, logos and text.

Preferred Format: Adobe Photoshop (PSD), TIFF (Tagged Image File Format), PNG (Portable Network Graphics)

Raster images are made up of pixels and have a fixed resolution, which can limit their scalability. These files are suitable for photographs and designs with intricate details.

PDF files are versatile and can encapsulate both vector and raster elements. They are often used for design proofs, sharing designs or for print-ready files.

JPEG files are widely used for photographs and images with continuous tones and gradients. However, they are not ideal for designs with sharp edges or text.

PSD files are native to Adobe Photoshop and retain layers, making them suitable for designs that may require further editing or adjustments.

Preferred Format: Adobe InDesign (INDD)

InDesign files are used for creating layouts and incorporating various design elements into a cohesive design.

SVG files are XML-based vector image formats that are scalable without loss of quality. They are great for web use and can be opened in web browsers.

CDR is a proprietary vector image format associated with CorelDRAW, a vector graphics editor. It's common in some design workflows.
